This website’s planner/designer nails everything about the blog, from the name to the blog landing page and post page design:
The site’s blog is aptly named “Stories”.
The landing page neatly shows all blog posts in a three-column layout. Each column item includes a beautiful artsy vertical cover image, the blog post title, and a CTA — you can click on any of them to view the blog post.
The blog post pages start with a title on the left and the cover image on the right. Then there’s some introduction (either of the topic or the person) in big fonts that give credibility/pull necessary for the reader to get involved in the story. The body text is well-structured with headings and paragraphs, plus there are visuals (where necessary) that act as a visual break point for readers. The body text font size is a bit large for my liking but readable.
Besides, I love how the whole style of the post changes depending on the topic/graphic used. For example, here, the background color is a light shade of brown, the font color is brown, and the font is ITC Cheltenham Pro:
In contrast, this article uses a black background and a simpler white font to fit the art and the topic of the story:
Overall, Deem is a perfect blog example to draw inspiration from.
